Mandatory COVID certificates and masks Corona protection measures for your museum visit

Dear visitors,
Your safety and that of our staff members are very important to us. To guarantee you a safe time at the Kunstmuseum Bern, we are constantly updating our measures according to the official national guidelines and those of the Canton of Bern. As of Monday, 20 December 2021 the access to museums is restricted to people who have been vaccinated or who have recovered from COVID. COVID certificates and masks have been mandatory in museums and cultural venues. In order for you to be able to plan your visit well and enjoy our offerings on-site, find an overview of the measures in force below:

For your visit to the Kunstmuseum Bern COVID certificates are mandatory, that is, from the age of 16 upwards, you will require a valid Swiss or EU/EFTA COVID certificate confirming that you are either vaccinated ir recovered as well as a valid ID. The same also applies to your participation in guided tours, workshops, events etc. Persons who have only been tested and are neither vaccinated nor recovered will not have access to the Kunstmuuseum Bern.

For the COVID certificate there are the following possibilities:

  • You are fully vaccinated.
  • You last tested positive less than 180 days ago and are now cured.

In addition, masks are compulsory in all indoor areas for everyone aged 12 and over.

Thank you for your understanding. We are delighted to welcome you to the Kunstmuseum Bern.
