The Expressionism Foundation

The foundation was established in 2007 by the Tschumi’s, a family that stems from Wolfisberg in Kirchdorf BE. The majority of its artworks are kept in the Kunstmuseum Bern. The foundation’s goal is to fill the gaps in the Kunstmuseum Bern’s collection and to make the collections of donors and patrons accessible to the public as far as possible. The foundation focuses on expressionist art of Germany and Switzerland, and pursues expressive approaches in international post-war art.
